Sam’s the man

Sam Foster has won the December Player of the Month award.

Sam was congratulated by main club sponsor Patricia Roche when the award was announced at the League Lunch prior to the game against Tottonians on Saturday.

Foster, who lost his place at fly half earlier in the season, has returned to the 1st XV to make the centre number 12 shirt his own and his performances in December were described by Head Coach Mark Wells as “outstanding”.

He will receive a tailor made club shirt from the online shirt maker Finicky (formerly Louis De Buisson) who provide a shirt for the Player of the Month throughout the season.

In addition, Finicky donate tailor made shirts as Blackout raffle prizes and these have already raised nearly £500 for club funds this season.

Saturday’s Blackout winner was Les White - Sam’s dad Calvin won the previous Blackout prize shirt at the Bognor game before Christmas.
