Colts to defend their title in play-off final
"We went to sleep and allowed the Petersfield centre to break four or five tackles from the halfway line to score under the posts.
"The pack played there normal solid game with the back row causing all kinds of problems and defensively the backs held the line, allowing very little through."
The first score went to Gos in the fifth minute - a penalty, for not moving away after the tackle, from the boot of Josh Whitehead,
The first try came in the 10th minute when Liam Perkins broke through the Petersfield defensive to run 40 yards to touch down left of the posts, with Whitehead adding the extras.
Our second try came from Tom Lynn. After the ball had gone through half a dozens pairs of hands, he received the ball back after starting the move 20 yards out, rolled around the defender to touch down, Whitehead again converting for a 17-0 half-time lead.
The second half started as the first at a high tempo Gos keeping Petersfield pinned down in their own half the third try came from Will Rolfe from a driving maul before the late scores from Petersfield.
